MISSIONS
Through Missions, we spread Jesus's love to all parts of the world, as Jesus commanded. This may mean we love people in other countries and continents and those in our neighborhoods, towns, and states. Being a missionary is one of God’s great blessings for individuals called to his service in an incredibly special way. Supporting missions through our gifts shows how we love others and love God and helps create disciples everywhere.
Newmarket School District
From its inception, the Newmarket Schools were Mercy Church’s first mission and we frequently provide snacks for students when the school expresses a need. The donations make possible a kickoff breakfast for staff at the beginning of every school year. There is a thrifting event in the fall which Mercy has donated items and volunteers for. Make sure you are signed up for our weekly email list to see recent activity and needs in town!
Newmarket Food Pantry
The NCC Food Pantry provides access to nutritious fresh and non-perishable food, personal hygiene and home cleaning items free of charge to Newmarket and Newfields residents. Mercy Church collects a monthly item for donation to the pantry on the 4th Sunday of each month.
Operation Blessing
Operation Blessing fights poverty by embracing Individuals and families in crisis with compassion, offering hope and healing for changed lives. We provide food, clothing, and household necessities to those in need. We promote healthy life choices through targeted community, education and outreach programs. We offer hope for a changed life that comes through faith in Christ.
